New body search for air travelers

Travelers to the United States face increased security checks of their person after the recent aircraft bomb scare in the United States where a would be bomber hid an explosive device in his underpants.
According to Tukua Tangaroa Airport Authority Chief of Security the extra new security regulations mean departing passengers must now be physically searched prior to boarding their flight.
“This is after they have been through the normal check in security procedures. Passengers must now be physically searched, patted down, prior to boarding the flight and all their carry on luggage also searched.”
Tangaroa said that with the body search the emphasis is on the upper thigh and crotch area and passengers are physically searched by security officers of the same gender. He suggests that passengers limit their carry on luggage to minimize the time required to carry out the searches and that departing passengers allow extra time for the new security procedures.
While Tangaroa understands these new security measures may offend some people they are required to be subjected to them otherwise they will not be permitted on the flight.
