Girls Brigade Cook Islands (GBCI) to be represented at the GB International Conference in Malaysia.

The Girls Brigade Cook Islands has 3 delegates attending the International Conference of the Girls’ Brigade (ICGB) in Kuching, Malaysia, 24th – 31st July 2010. Apart from the National Secretary, the other two delegates are Youth representatives, Marcienne Maurangi and Jane Tou. Exposing the youth at these international events provides them with a world wide perspective of GB at the same time learning from other youths about their love and experiences within the organisation around the world; it also provides them with motivation and enthusiasm to promote and enhance the aim and principles of the organisation in their own countries.
Girls Brigade Cook Islands (GBCI) – Movie Premiere
To assist delegates attending the International Conference of Girls Brigade, GBCI will be holding a movie premiere, “Alice in Wonderland”, rated PG, this Saturday 13th March 2010, according to the Times Online of 9 March 2010 this movie has smashed the Avatar’s box office record after one week showing in the US.
