Southpac Sponsor ACA Office
Keeping the Aitutaki Cyclone Appeal office open during weekday afternoons has been made possible with the help of Southpac Trust Company.
ACA volunteer Vaine Marsters has been sponsored by Southpac for month to keep the office open and maintain networks. ACA chairman George George says the sponsorship by Southpac is “much appreciated and very valuable to ensure that we keep the office open weekday afternoons.”
George explained that Southpac’s sponsorship has helped see the completion of a successful drive for clothing and other goods for Aitutaki that were received at the main office.
He explained that Vaine has been a volunteer since the ACA committee was set up. “But we couldn’t really expect Vaine to keep working voluntarily in the office every afternoon, so the Southpac sponsorship of two hours every afternoon is very helpful to us.”
