Cabinet and officials to blame for Toa petroluem case

In a media release, former DPM and Finance Minister Sir Terepai Maoate spoke about his being blamed for the Toa Petroleum deal going wrong.
He said Norman George had blamed him. Sir Terepai said the Judge had given his decision and Norman was now taking it out on him, not only Norman but also Wilkie Rasmussen.
Rasmussen has lost the case and the judge said it’s not only myself he said, it’s the PM, his Cabinet and officials who did this, it was all of us. Sir Terepai said he wanted to the outcome was not a bad thing.
However, because of this, it was like a movie where he was being blamed, I’m being made out like if I’m a bad man said Sir Terepai.
Right now said Sir Terepai, people like the PM are in hiding and do want to take the rap for this and as for Wilkie, Sir Terepai said he had wasted the country’s money taking the court case. We end up worse off said Sir Terepai.
What I see, said Sir Terepai, Wilkie and PM from my point of view, are not good or suitable men to run our country. He said many people have been asking the same thing. Wilkie he said had caused bad things with the government of today. Other countries, said Sir Terepai, are finding ways to help get us out of the economic downturn and there are our people out there who are struggling.
