Air NZ board hosts function at Ngatipa
It was the first time that the Air New Zealand Board traveled outside of New Zealand to a Pacific island to hold their meeting and according to David Bridge the Air New Zealand Manager in Rarotonga the Cook Islands was chosen because of the unique relationship we have with Air New Zealand. The Cook Islands is also Air New Zealand’s Pacific number one destination.
The Chairman of the Board, the Board of Directors, CEO of Air New Zealand and senior management flew in quietly over the weekend and held their board meeting at Takamoa. They were also fortunate to be in Rarotonga for the opening of the new terminal.
On Monday evening key stakeholders of Air New Zealand were invited to a function hosted by Air New Zealand at the New Zealand High Commissioners residence in Ngatipa. The function was a reflection of the airline’s commitment to a better understanding of the key regions in which they operate. It also gave them an opportunity to keep the stakeholders more informed on why they are the “ATW Airline of the Year 2010” and what is happening in our region and also for them to meet their most loyal customers and partners.
