Vogel family celebrates

It has been a week of celebrating for the Vogel family of Matavera. Family members along with friends returned home from all over the world to commenorate key events. According to one family member this is the first time that the brothers and sisters , sone with their partners and children have managed to all be in the same place at one time .
The main event was of course the 60th birthday of mum Kopu Vogel, the unvieling of several family headstones and the christening of Moira and Beales children at the Matavera Church.
Unfortunately due to flight delays one son, Renall and his daughter arrived after the family festivities.
Moira and Beale christened their children at the weekend and everyone gathered at the home of Kura Lusby for refreshments and kai kai.
Moira and Beale are based in Cains , Australia and this is also the first time they have returned with all their children.
They are also travelling to Mauke to take part in family celebrations .
