Changes at Crown Beach Resort and Spa

Rohan Ellis General Manager of the Crown Beach Resort and Spa announced on Tuesday the appointment of Tony Bullivant, former owner/operator of the hugely successful ‘Café Salsa’, to the role of Executive Chef to lead & develop the Resort’s team of talented Cook Islanders.
Tony will be responsible for the roll out of new innovative menu’s and kitchen operations at Oceans Restaurant & Bar – the Resort’s signature lagoon-front eatery for breakfasts, lunches and our uber popular theme buffets. Tony will also oversee the smooth re-integration of the highly acclaimed Windjammer Restaurant back into the Crown group from 1st September 2010. Lastly, he will also test and roll out our brand new Spanish tapa’s menu at Tang Martini Lounge & Tapa’s Restaurant scheduled for opening on the 1st November 2010.
Ellis said The Crown Beach Resort & Spa now operates a 24-hour reception and will soon roll out a 24-hour room service program. We’ve upgraded our complimentary continental breakfast into a full American buffet breakfast including hot selections like crispy bacon, eggs, potato croutons & onion, fried green tomatoes, sausages and a range of heavenly pastries said Ellis.
Crown Beach Resort & Spa has mapped out a challenging 28-month development plan which will see major hardware upgrades, quality-service training, cuisine development, romance-product development and much more to make the resort one of the finest in the Pacific Islands.
