Huge disappointment at cancellation of test match
At the Prime Minister’s luncheon reception on Wednesday for the Rugby League players who came for the big, highly anticipated match up between the NZ Kiwi league team and a Kuki team scheduled for 6 October, Kevin Iro announced his enormous disappointment at the cancellation of the “Test match.”
“Massive let down from kiwi team,” said Iro. As of Tuesday 2.30pm the Kiwi league team pulled out of the scheduled October 6th match. Although very dismayed, Iro still has plenty planned, “we’re going to forge ahead with the tri series, and from that will pick a best of team and that team will take on our Kukis team,” said Iro.
A possible replacement for kiwi team has been suggested that “the Junior Kangaroos might be coming in place of the Kiwi Rugby League Team,” An optimistic Iro said restructuring of tickets and refunds will be made available as of tomorrow Thursday 29th October. -Maria Tanner
