Training in solar power systems

Two training sessions on Solar Photovoltaic (PV) Systems commenced on Wednesday morning at the Parekura Conference Centre next to CITV.
The sessions, on Wednesday morning and afternoon, have been organized by local consultants MV Consulting Firm in partnership with SMA Australia Pty Ltd.
The first session is an introduction to solar PV systems and is aimed at the public. It covers components, design systems and is intended to give the public a basic understanding of solar systems.
The second session in the afternoon covers technical training and is aimed at engineers, electricians and technicians. It will provide more detailed and advanced information to the industry.
SMA Australia Pty Ltd, a German based company, is a global leader in the development, production and sales of PV inverters and, as an energy management group, offers innovative key technologies for future power supply structures.
The training presenter from SMA is Wilhelm van Butselaar, Manager Off Grid/Power Plant Solutions.
Terekino (Tino) Vaireka represents MV Consulting Firm.
