Herman resumes position as CEO of Super Fund

In a statement issued on Tuesday morning to the Herald, the Board of the Cook Islands National Superannuation Fund advised it is pleased to announce that Anne Herman-Fua has resumed her position of Chief Executive Officer.
Anne resigned her position as CEO as her family had made the decision to relocate to Australia.
As they commenced their journey of relocation, Anne’s husband Halatoa, was appointed to the acting position of CEO of Cook Islands Tourism Corporation and has now been appointed to the position permanently.
So the relocation of the Fua family has now been unwound and they have returned to Rarotonga.
Upon Anne’s resignation, the CEO’s position was advertised in the local press, and on the internet. In excess of 20 applications and enquiries were received and these were being evaluated when the changes in the Fua family lives occurred. With this knowledge, the Board asked Anne if she wanted to withdraw her resignation as CEO and she agreed to do this. Anne resumed her duties at the beginning of this week.
All applicants have been advised of this situation personally.
