BROADBAND GROWS

Telecom Cook Islands is reporting that after the introduction of its new reduced broadband rates on 1 March it registered 81 new broadband customers that month.
This took its total broadband customer numbers to 468.
Broadband is a faster, permanent Internet connection, as opposed to the slower dialup connections.
Telecom Cook Islands marketing manager Keren Aviu said: “Growth is expected to continue in this favourable trend over the next few months as customers take advantage of the new reduced prices.”
