LETTERS TO THE EDITOR
Dorothy vs Yolande
Dear Editor:
Reply with dignity. Maseli 9:13 “E tuatua maata tei te vaine neneva, e manako kore tona e te kitekore ra.”
Yolande, I don’t need to answer to your childish questions (full of ignorance) but I’m going to get on the point and put you where you belong !! If any fool and lots of Cook Islanders that understand the language, understood my article (who gave compliments), how come you did not understood what was conveyed, if you think that you are that intelligent.
The following is where you should stay and belong, and then “ka aue koe” like you said. You will be eating your own uavare pe. I am sorry because everything is coming out now, no excuses – akapapa mai ra iakoe.
1. Willie Browne, fresh off the boat from England (a Pommy), married Elizabeth (e vaine Mitiaro), kia akaipoipo raua, kua pati a Willie, kia topaia te ingoa Upokotokoa ki runga I teia vaine nei. Kare ra te uanga a Abela Uriarau I akatika ana - had the first Puna of Brownes. You know who these people are, which I will not mention no te mea kare ratou e akatupu tuatua mai na mei ta’au rai. Kua tangata ratou no runga i to ratou metua-vaine.
2. Then, he (Willie Browne) had a second marriage to your mother, another Elizabeth (e vaine Manihiki – we know her and her Takai family from Nikao – then she married to the old man, Bullingham, who provides my family fresh milk). In fact you are not related to the first PUNA, the only relation you have is through your father which he had nothing on this island – only the name “BROWNE”. Kimi atu koe I tona Makea anga ki Paratane (England).
3. You do not even have a “LINE”, no connection through all the families you think you’re from – Makea-Karika-Tinomana (Kapu)-Makirau ( e toka umu na Tinomana)-Kainuku ki vao (no vao mai rai oki)-Tamaiva (is this the Tamaiva Ureakapiki-S.Savage), etc, etc. “Mei te Mokora rai koe I te rere aere uatu, me maro te vai ka rere ka kimi I tetai ngai vai” teia te aite’anga, Tei te kimi aere koe I tetai metua no’ou kia Rangatira koe. You are seeking the Makea title only for yourself – with no connection!! Your supporters left you in front of the “GUN” and watch you suffering now. No’ou rai te ingoa e ta’akama ia ra.
4. I know a few people who are against my article, te mate takitaki aere nei – you don’t want to go down that road. Kare oki au I akatietie iaku, maata atu toku rangatira anga I toou, but thanks for letting me express the truth on behalf of all poor people suffering/crying for their rights, seeking for the TRUTH!! As it was hidden good.
My guide and angels are my own 4-times great grandparents; their twin sons & daughter; and my two great-great-grandmothers, Te-pou-o-te-Rangi Vaimotu (no issue, then adopted, Teverovero-o-te-rangi Maria Vaimotu) She is the only Rangi I te tuatau o te etene, none of these Rangis the Ngati Tanere (Heathers) claiming as theirs. Kimi kotou e noea mai a Tangi Kirierengia, to kotu ia (no roto mai ia Tia Manavaroa, na George Marsters, e Pamati) – na Maria oki I ariki mai iaia ki runga I te enua i tetai ngai noo’anga, life interest ua – e I teia ra kua noinoi atu I te enua o Vaimotu e kua akariro e tangata ratou. Ta kotou Rangi e apai nei, no te taime o te evangelia. Kare e roa atu ana ka pekapeka rai kotou kia kotou rai. Now, how did you think I know these things. You, Yolande, you have been guided by your papa’a ancestors, to keep seeking for your best interest like they did.
BUT, not anymore. Take your rubbish to where they are originally from. (These ancestors of mine are roaming around on the Land/homes owned by them, please don’t get me wrong, no reira kotou kare e varea ana e te moe).
5. Now, I am going to give the names to some of Willie Brownes’ supporters: Akakoromaki mai te aronga ka o ratou I teia tata’anga no te mea, me uru’ia au e te tupuna, ka oronga mai I tetai uatu au mea kare kotou e mareka, e TIKA ra. Ka rave e na ratou e akaaere I toku rima I te tata, I know some people will not believe it but it is a FACT, it does not always come, only when I am writing:- IOBU TUMU (papa’a) – Taruia family line; VAEVAE RATUMU (NZ Maori) – Ratumu family line: KAIRAU (Mangaia/Ngatangiia) – Putua family line; TAMAITI PARAU (Ngatangiia) – Strickland family line; JOHN PURU (Mangaia)/papa’a) – Puna Young family line; MARAMA NICHOLAS (Surveyor) – Marama Nicholas family; DAVID METUARAU (Court Registrar) – Maria Henderson family line; URIARAU PARAONI - real name Huiarau, e NZ Maori a.k.a. Tokatama/Uriarau Tokerau/Uriarau Maoate which the Maoate clan believed that’s who they come from (no roto mai I te uanga a Makea Abela: URITAUA – real name Huitaua, another NZ Maori (e rai uatu teia uanga akao aere ia ratou/tapiri morava), e au manuiri aere.
Ko Patu Uritaua, works in the Land Registry office, he twisted everything – Makea offered them a land, then this uanga pushed Makea out and said they owned it.
6. Teia te au enua e noo nei teia au uanga nei:- mei Vaimotu Uri, Aretere, Kaikaveka, Puapuaotu, Turamatuitui, Ruaunga, Pokoinu, Tuoro., etc., etc. Ina, ko teia au enua, mei runga I te Rua-ma’anga (Ruamanga) ki roto I te ava I Avatai (Avatiu) e TAI rai atu-enua.
7. Ko te “Vaine-pae-tai(Teameamea) – a sister to the twins, Tekauariki (Karii) and Taraape (Taaki), was kidnapped from Tahiti by Makea Abela (papa’a) and Makea Pori (papa’a), on the whale boat (pai patia toroa). Vaine-pae-tai was house arrested in To’angaatua (Taputapuatea); was fed till obese – cannot move around, just lay down. She never had any children at all/KARE ANA UANGA.
Upokotoa ( e tamaine na Urirau Tokerau) was made to look after her (tavini-vaine) by Makea Abela. Later Makea Abela slept with Upokotoa and had the Estall/Taripo family line. Teia te tauma’a a te Vaine-pae-tai ki te uanga Makea, especially Makea Abela, no te takinokino iaia:- “Kare rava ta’au uanga e noo ki runga I te taoanga ariki, ka rongo to taringa, kare ra koe e kite, ka kite to mata, kare ra koe e kai”. No reira te taviriviri nei tetai au uanga I te tauru aere mai ia ratou na roto mai I te Vaine-pae-tai (Teameamea); which is a never ending story and a long, long false saga. E tamaine teia na, Io-totoro-ki-Ora-Varu (Iro/Whiro) Tatau metitaki I taku peapa, e tai rai IO (No mua kino atu aia I teia au aronga e taiku nei koe). Kare e pirianga kia Makea, Tinomana, Kainuku, Tamaiva, Pa e te Arera, no te mea no te tuatau ua ratou o te Evangelia. E toa ra aia e tona nga tamariki, I te ta I te pa-enua nei, aere ua mai tena putunga tangata papa’a – aka’ariki ia ratou, akatangata ua ki runga I te enua – kare I roiroi ana I te ta’anga.
9. Finally, ko KAENA, is from Tahiti, lived in Mangaia, kua “uti mai I te ‘aka ma’ararau, taviri ki runga I te tumu rakau o Tepou-o-te-Rangi Vaimotu’, kua karanga e, ko raua te Tutara Mataiapo o Puaikura nei KARE RAVA E PIRIANGA TOTO – Kare oki a Rangi Vaimotu I te tane . E Tutara rai aia no tona metua mai, ko Tekauariki (Karii) – supreme rulers – ko Kaena ra, e utu panu. Te pou nei teia uanga I te matemate. Te taviriviri nei, te kimi nei te uanga I to ratou tika’anga ki runga I te enua o Rangi Vaimotu (e vaine).
Kua rava te akakoromaki i ta kotou anga’anga repo e rave aere nei. I tumatetenga ana teia au metua vaine noku, kua takinokino ia e ta ratou au tane, kua uuna ia ratou, kua riro to ratou enua.
I am so sorry that the truth had to come out but this is how far I was pushed to do, to remind you people to open your eyes and smell the roses, and to look around what is happening to your family.
And to you Yolande, you shamed your own family, soon ka pekapeka koe ki to’ou rai uanga.
Exodo 20: 16 Auraka rava koe kia riro ei kite pikika’a I to tangata tupu na.

Shame, shame, shame
Dear Editor – I agree with the article in Monday’s press questioning Reform – What Reform?
Dr Maoate has shown since the elections that he is a man whose election promises are not to be believed. He has made a mockery of the reform process and he and his wannabe advisers have kept the country in suspense.
The Demos should hang their heads in shame.
First they lied with their now broken election promises.
Second they used youth as a drawcard to “win” the elections.
Where are those youth now?
I heard they are so disillusioned by Dr Maoate and his bunch of cronies they’re considering starting their own political party.
Then they create jobs for the boys by getting rid of, through sacking, those who do not support them in key positions.
When there are no positions available, they create them.
They even appoint people, who do not have the skills, to top jobs and also believe they are above the law and can do whatever they like with their office budgets and motor vehicles.
I know of one CEO who uses two office vehicles as if they were his own, one for work and one for the missus to use.
I believe he also hires consultants to work for him.
I know of one consultant who was a convicted criminal like me and is now working for government again.
Is this the Demo way? Shame, shame, shame.
Is there no shame in you Dr Maoate, especially as you are about to be awarded a high honour by the Queen?
When you talk about reform, talk to us, the convicted criminals, who know what reform is all about.
After all, we did the crime and paid our time.
Step down and resign now.
