Bridge work at O’oa, Matavera

Work has begun repairing the damage caused by erosion at the O’oa bridge.
The damage occurred during cyclones and residents were concerned that the possibility of another cyclone would see further damage.
While the landowner of the adjoining property is encouraged to see work in progress he is concerned that that the fill will just wash away if the river level rose. Work has also been done by the Ministry of Works on the bridge at Matavera. Photo: Shona Pitt
