Rotoract success up at the Staircase

Rotaract’s first ‘Akarongo ite mapu’ for 2007 was awesome, those who were there say!
Lawyer Martha Henry, Corporal Andrea McNabb, of the RNZAF, and businessman Mark Brown spoke to more than 60 young people at the Staircase Restaurant & Bar.
The event is to let young people know you can triumph over challenges and problems you may face as you enter adulthood.
Successful local guest speakers share their achievements with them over dinner. A set number of student tickets for the night are subsidised by the club.
This is part of Rotaract Rarotonga’s Celebrate Life campaign, which was started to combat youth suicide. Rotaract says it is striving towards building a resilient youth in the Cook Islands.
