Lucky $1,000 winner

“It made my weekend,” $1,000 winner Andy Brown told the Times on Friday morning.
Last Thursday just before Easter weekend, Andy went into the Tattslotto shop and bought three “Scratch for Sam” tickets. The week before Andy had won $25 on a scratch ticket.
On scratching the second ticket, Andy noticed he had won $1,000.
The win had to be verified by Tattslotto in Australia and on Friday morning, Andy received his winnings.
According to Manager Tino Vaireka, there are still many good cash prizes to be won. While the top prize has been claimed, there is still another $1,000 prize to be won and several at $250. There are also many $4, $10 and $25 prizes to be won.
There are some 23 books of scratch tickets still remaining and the total prizes on offer are about $3,500. Each scratch tickets costs $2.
