Boxing seeks a home
The CI Amateur Boxing Association has some concerns on not being able to secure a permanent training venue in preparation for the codes representation at the Commonwealth Games later this year. The CI Amateur Boxing Association is one of six codes selected by the High Performance Commission to represent the Cook Islands. Two representatives from the CI Amateur Boxing Associaton were at yesterday’s announcement and said that the association at the moment is out sourcing a permanent venue as well as a boxing ring. To enable the association to compete at such an event as the Commonwealth Games, a venue is needed urgently so the association can provide professional level training to the boxers to represent the Cook Islands.
