Awards workshop a great partnership
Telecom Cook Islands are a proud sponsor of the 2011 Air New Zealand Cook Islands Tourism Awards. As part of our ongoing commitment to developing constructive business partnerships with the Tourism sector we will be delivering the first workshop in the Tourism Awards series.
“How to make the most of your business ONLINE”.
The Workshop will cover both theoretical and practical cost effective ways to attract potential customers and convert them into enquiries / sales from a web site.
Telecom Cook Islands is working closely with Telecom New Zealand online expert, Rupert Farrow, to provide an interactive and informative workshop that not only will give tools and methods to bettering your business but will be a fun and engaging way to further your knowledge.
Rupert Farrow started in online marketing as an affiliate marketer for large online retailers such as Amazon and Tiger Direct over a decade ago. In those early days of online marketing the focus was on search engine optimisation and pre-selling visitors to optimise conversions.
In 2010 Rupert had a year at New Zealand Trade and Enterprise as online manager / web programme manager where he put in place an international online marketing strategy for trade promotion of brand New Zealand. Now back at Telecom New Zealand Rupert is leading a team of 10 people responsible for the online delivery of all offers to market campaigns from design to execution.

Workshop times: 10.00am – 12.00noon
