Tereora College Inter House Touch Competition
On Friday morning, the Tereora College Rugby tournament was held. This is an annual tournament and is one of approximately five sports days that the college holds each year.
The tournament is an inter-house competition, where the students are split up into four groups and compete against each other. At the same time, three stalls were selling food and drinks as part of their business class. Each stall was competing against each other to raise the most money, and each was sponsored by various companies on the island.
When asked how the students were liking the tournament, there was much enthusiasm expressed. “It’s a lot of fun. We’re not very good at rugby, but it’s fun anyway,” said Hareta and Jayden, two year nine students at the college.
