ADB consultant denies charges
In the Criminal Court on Thursday morning before JP Tui Short, Lyn Yeoman a consultant appointed by the Asia Development Bank (ADB) to undertake a review of the Public Service denied charges brought by Police of driving dangerously and with excess breath alcohol. The case was adjourned until 9 June 2011.
Yeoman had been charged by Police earlier with dangerous driving and driving with excess breath alcohol. At that first Court appearance an application for interim name suppression was made on the grounds that Yeoman was working for the ADB conducting a review of government. JP Tuteru denied the application and the case was adjourned without plea until March 24.
Yeoman‘s contract is understood to be worth in the region of $900,000.
