In which the CIRC [Cook Island Red Cross] had held for the outer island youths. “We liked the experience and we both really learned a lot from observing and participating with the Aitutaki and Mangaian youth educators in the CIRC.” Say’s Allamein. Alex, who had never been to Aitutaki and Mangaia before this trip says that he is thankful to the CIRP for creating this program and choosing him as it has changed his way of life.” Everything is very new to me, but I really like it.”
The pair was taught how to recruit and assist in the extracting of blood from donors, and also aiding with the Safe Campaigns and other activities, which allowed them to interact with the other Youth educators and make new friends.
