More pieces of the mystery revealed
Pictured in the above photo is More Amoa who placed the second curse at the Vaimaanga hotel site in 1990. The photo was provided to the Times by a person who wishes to remain anonymous.
The photo was taken in 1990 and shows More Amoa in the cloak he wore on the night he placed the curse (25 May 1990) and holding the tokotoko with which he struck the rock supporting the plaque at Vaimaanga and which he then buried at a secret location.
More Amoa has since passed away.
The Times was advised that the photo had been deliberately “aged” and that the kikau huts in the background were part of the props used for the movie “The other side of Paradise.” -Charles Pitt
