Political questions, Political pushes?

Politics behind removal?
Now that the dust is being to settle over the Don Beer Jnr affair at the Ports Authority, questions are now surfacing. These are over the possible involvement and role played by Democratic Party Vice-President Makirere Poila.
In all the publicity over the Beer affair, Poila’s name did not feature anywhere.
Why? Is not Poila a member of the Ports Authority board? The question is what part did he play in Beer’s removal?
Where are the speech writers?
Reports are coming in of difficulties being experienced in drafting the speech to be delivered by Queen’s Representative (QR) Sir Fredrick Goodwin at the ceremonial opening of Parliament.
It appears Cabinet is unhappy with the quality of the drafts so far attempted. The question is whose job is it to draft the QR’s speech?
The fact difficulties are being experienced indicates the file containing copies of previous speeches must be missing or non-existent.
Is there no-one employed in government who is capable of writing a speech setting out government’s programme for the next session?
Will Cabinet be forced to ask George Turia of the Cook Islands Party office, to prepare the draft?
Who will Wigmore replace?
Which Cabinet Minister is the Prime Minister going to sideline in order to bring Robert Wigmore into Cabinet? Will it be a case of last on first off?
If so, then Kete Ioane may have to fall on his sword. However, it’s unlikely to be Ioane because that would be an admission that he was only keeping the seat warm.
So who is it likely to be? In order for a senior minister to be stood down, they or their ministries or boards will have needed to have performed below par.
Recent concerns over the Prison and the Ports point to Tangata Vavia as a possibility. Will it be him?
