Tony Iro
Cook Islander Tony Iro has been appointed as coach of the New Zealand Warriors under-20 side with the National Rugby League age grade competition starting next year.
Iro’s professional career erupted under the leadership of coach Graham Lowe at Wigan in the late 1980s, where his brother Kevin also played.
Iro played 24 tests for the Kiwis and 184 first grade games, with his other clubs being the Roosters, and Hunter in the 1997 Super league, Adelaide and finally South Sydney.
And the Warriors foundation captain Dean Bell has been appointed the club’s community and development manager.
