Change of dates for boxing at BC
By Charles Pitt

The boxing contest scheduled to be held at the Banana Court on Tuesday 21 November has been postponed.
Tupou Faireka, Vice President of the Cook Islands Amateur Boxing Association (CIABA), said that the Banana Court management has advised that the premises have been fully booked next week for the Vaka Eiva canoeing event.
They will not be available for the boxing contest.
The weigh-in for boxers scheduled for 4.30pm on Monday 20 November is therefore cancelled.
The contest will now be held on Tuesday 28 November at the Banana Court starting at 7pm. The weigh in and match up for the bouts will now take place at the CISNOC office at 4.30pm on Thursday 23 November.
For this event 10 bouts are planned and sponsored trophies will be awarded for all winners.
The CIABA has decided to stage only one contest in December instead of two. The contest scheduled for 5 December has been cancelled and the contest for 19 December will go ahead.
