Promoting the Cook Islands look

Gina and Beres Rasmussen make their way to the Miss South Pacific Pageant in Apia, Samoa.
The couple stood out in the crowd with their matching Elena Tavioni garments. If one didn’t know better one would think that the couple was working for the renowned designer.
During their stay in Samoa, Gina and Beres Rasmussen promoted the Cook Islands designer by frequently wearing her clothes.
Always immaculately dressed in the Cook Islands made garments, Gina and Beres were outstanding models. It was obvious they were proud to be wearing the Tavs label.
What more could a designer want than to have her garments promoted in this manner? Photo: Shona Pitt
