African theme for Demos?

The uncanny resemblence
between the Democratic Party’s
“Embrace our future” logo and
the Kenyan Statuette.

The six-inch high sandstone statuette from Kenya, pictured sitting on the cover of the Demoratic Party manifesto, bears a remarkable resemblance to the party’s “Embrace the future” logo.
A local woman purchased the Kenyan statuette from a shop in Auckland’s Sylvia Park in Mount Wellington while in New Zealand recently.
She said the shop has been importing statuettes from Kenya for the past 20 years.
According to the local, the resemblance is far too similar for the Demos to claim their logo as an original.
