PM lays on sunshine for FBI

Groves(centre) is a Legal Attaché with the Bureau, stationed in Canberra.
He was in Rarotonga for the first time, paying calls on Prime Minister Marurai, and the Police.
Among the topics for discussion was an offer to take advantage of training with the FBI, for senior police. The Prime Minister is keen to develop links with the USA and said he would welcome a visit by the American Ambassador based in Wellington.
Pictured with the Prime Minister and Groves is Deputy Commissioner of Police Maara Tetava(left).
