Having fun at the Tereora College Food Festival
Tereora College students and teachers were having the time of their life at the fundraiser as they kept count of their takings at their stalls.
The fundraiser seemed very popular with the public with lots of traffic in and out of Te Atukura with some of the boys rather hopefully offering free kisses in exchange for buying their goods, while other stall holders claim they will pay customers to kiss them and still others just concentrating on annihilating the opposition by generating as much revenue as possible.
The community admire how enterprising the students have been in demonstrating their future entrepreneurial skills in the free market and seen from that angle will stand the students in very good stead for the future.
There are other opinions but this is not the forum for that and whatever the individual opinion on the need for fundraising, the College has won the support of the community and we wish them all the luck in the world with their fundraising.
Kia manuia to Tereora College.
