Special welcome for Bank Manager
A special luncheon to meet with Jane Kettle, Pacific General Manager of Westpac was held at Tamarind House on Wednesday 10 September.
Jane is based in Sydney and has been the top executive for the Pacific region for the past three years and manages a team of over 1,100 employees with over $1.5 billion AUD in assets spanning 7 countries and different time zones.
Westpac are proud of her rise through the ranks where she has senior roles in strategic sourcing, corporate services and human resources as well as numerous board positions for Westpac in PNG, Tonga and Samoa. Jane has also been a board member on Cash Services Australia in Sydney.
The invitation was extended by the BPW immediate past president, Vaine Arioka when she learned of Jane’s visit to Westpac Cook Islands and asked Wayne to find out if Jane could fit in a networking luncheon with the members of BPW.
The invitation was graciously accepted and many of the ladies at the luncheon later said they had found Jane’s talk to be very inspirational especially her views on the development of Pacific women in the workplace and how it has grown over the years.
